REALLY exciting news!

Well...first things first. Unfortunately, no cute photos will accompany this post. :( I know...photos are my favorite part of any post!
Now, WHY is this, you ask?
Well................it looks like it's definitely happening this week, so I'm going to spill the beans. I was approached by a fabric company to do a collaboration. They want their new fabrics paired with my designs to be featured at the International Quilt Market next month in Houston, TX. Now, for those that aren't familiar with Quilt Market, it's a trade show for industry insiders such as fabric designers (Anna Maria Horner, Amy Butler, etc...), fabric companies, retailers, patterns makers, etc.....to release all of the new goodies and creations for the next 6months - 1 year.

It's a BIG deal. BIG. THis fabric company will showcase my new designs AND patterns at Quilt Market! I am so honored to have been asked to do this. The COOLEST part is that tomorrow morning, I will have in my hot little hands, yardage of fabric that has not been released to the public yet. I get to whip up some new designs and even send a few out to photographers for promotional photos!!!

One of the fabric lines I have chosen was released earlier this year and one won't be shown until next month (so I don't think I'm allowed to show photos yet). I also have plans to include much of this company's fabric in my 2010 Spring line for ZozoBugBaby.

This is such a big opportunity for me and as soon as I get model photos (and the OK from the company to show the fabric), I'll post them!!!! I will also, at that point, reveal the company and all of the other fabric goodies I"ll be using! Photographers have been chosen.......fabric is being overnighted....let's get this party started!!!!!
