Drumroll please..............................................

These are the images I've been the most excited about for the fall line! After all...the model? That would be Miss Eliana. The name of my biggest fall line? Hmmm....that would be..."The Eliana Collection"! Uh huh. This child inspired her own ZozoBugBaby line. Those of you who have followed my blog have seen shoot after shoot with Miss E done by her FABULOUS Mommy....Pascale Wowak. This shoot is OUT of the ballpark! :) Feast your eyes, folks. All of this will be available on Saturday, August 1st! Miss Eliana models a reversible jacket, double twirl skirt, Rosette tee and a 3 tiered bubble skirt! THANK YOU to Pascale Wowak Photography, as always, and to Miss Eliana for making my designs look sooooooo good! OH..and the crocheted cap? That was designed specifically for "The Eliana Collection" by Simply J Crochet!

I am so honored to work with a new photographer, Heather Bookout of Heather Bookout Photography! Not only does she do amazing photography, but it's very unique and dramatic! Each photograph is like a little story, complete with elaborate backdrops and fun, fun props! Heather approached me design a few fall pieces for her new studio boutique, Chic*a*bee Boutique! Of course.....I LOVE designing new pieces, so.....I jumped at the opportunity! Zozo and Bug

I really love commercial blogs that have personal and "everyday" posts that give glimpses into the daily lives of the creator. My focus, starting with this post, is to give you those snippets every now and then. I'll start with the most frequent question I am asked - "How did you come up with the name ZozoBugBaby?". Well....first of all, I'm horrible at coming up with kind of names or "tag lines" for anything. I always beg my best friend, Lynsey (who has a career in advertising), to come up with something fabulous for me. We put our brains together and always make it happen.

The two inspirations for ZozoBugBaby are my two crazy little girls, Zoe and Delia. "Zozo", obviously is Zoe's nickname, and Delia is usually referred to as "Bug", "Bitty Bug"..or something similar. Just the breaks when you are the baby of the family! These two are just as spunky, colorful and unexpected as my designs. I TRY to use them as models when photographing my clothing, but.....cooperation is hard to come by! Anyway....meet the girls of ZozoBugBaby!

I am working with another hair accessory designer, JessLeeNes, to come up with some gorgeous hair "pretties" to go perfectly coordinate witn your ZozoBugBaby outfits! More pics will be posted soon, but I wanted to show you the beautiful bows Jess has already created for some of my outfits! Maliya models a happy little extravaganza of ribbons to match the CANDY SHOPPE set! I've also included a quick pic of Zoe in a darling little black and white bow. Pascale will be doing a little photo shoot in the next few weeks with 2 more little gems, so stay tuned! I am just amazed at some of the hair sculptures created by JessLeeNes! Precious Memories by Kate + Maliya + ZozoBugBaby = PERFECTION!

Now, I have to say that I am approached by many photographers every month to shoot my line. I KNOW that sounds totally "uppity", and those of you that know me personally know that I am the COMPLETE opposite of "uppity". Because I am so stretched thin right now with orders, I HAVE to limit the amount of samples I send out and photographers I take on. I have formed a GREAT group of photographers that I love to work with on a regular basis. Having said that, when Kate Callahan of Precious Memories by Kate approached me about shooting my line, I literally made an outfit THAT DAY for her model. I was completely blown away by her photography. I HAD to work with her. HAD TO.

In looking at her blog, I discovered a most INCREDIBLE model.........little Maliya. OH Maliya. She just EXUDED personality in Kate's images. TO DIE FOR. I stopped what I was doing and had a clear vision of what to create for little Maliya. It was done within the hour. Ok...no more fanfare. Take a look at these stunning images.
