2010 in REVIEW

I have spent the day with my family on a MUCH needed break today. We baked in Zoe's Easy Bake oven. We played about one million rounds of "Hungry Hungry Hippo". We colored. I had NO idea how DEPRIVED of my family I was. I have been on SURVIVAL mode for about a year.

This has been the most difficult year of my life. It MAY not come as a shock that I am NOT a good business person. My brain leans 99.9% to the CREATIVE quadrant (whatever that is). I have the BEST intentions and take on WAY more than I should. This year has seen that MULTIPLIED. I am SO completely honored that you all love my work as much as you do. Over the last 2 weeks I have transitioned my business from custom-order to ready-made only. It has been a HUGE stress relief! While that will limit designs a lot more, it makes for much happier customers and a MUCH less stressed out ME!

Having this new business model will allow me to have a REALLY fast turnaround time with trunk show orders. I have become great friends with Tristian of Gracylu Originals and I am so honored that she has chosen to team up with ZozoBugBaby for the 2011 trunk shows. We are completely booked until Fall of 2011!

I am so humbled that many of you have stuck with me through this tough year and continued to believe in me. I do have BIG things in the works for Zozo, but I cannot announce anything yet. I have alienated many this year and for that, I am so disappointed in myself. I am nothing if not a PERFECTIONIST. Putting a reign on my business growth has DEFINITELY been a struggle. I have let my business grow to a point that even with 4 employees, it's hard to manage. I am a lucky girl. THANK YOU For your support. To those that I have disappointed.....I am TORN UP about it and I am sorry.

To my friends.....words cannot express. There are some of you that see my life in person and give such amazing support. I have met THE MOST amazing women through zozo. I treasure ALL OF YOU.

My best friend, Lynsey, is my rock. HANDS DOWN. I don't even need to say anymore. She knows.
To the AMAZING women I have come to know.....Chrystel, Petra, Christina, Tracey, Kim, Melinda, Tristian, Lori, Shana, Jodi, Kate.....again. I have no words. You are valued beyond measure.

To my most trusted fellow designers...I cannot WAIT until our "Design Summit" in February!....Kiki, Jen, Jayme...your friendship is SUCH an amazing part of my day.

2011 is going to be an AMAZING YEAR full of organization, efficiency and GREAT designs. I just may take over the world! :)
